Sustainability

From Hort de Nal we are seriously committed to the respect and care of our environment, for this we take several measures that lead to a decrease in pollution, use of plastics, pesticides and energy saving. These measures include:

The rainwater collection system that the house has, whose waters are conducted to our well to be used later for the irrigation of our gardens.

We use almost no pesticides. We limit the use of pesticides to a minimum, thus minimizing their negative impact on the ecosystem.

Our amenities have the ecofriendly seal, the containers and bottles are manufactured with 100% recycled and recyclable RPET. Oxo-biodegradable plastics contain an additive called d2w whose function is to break the carbon-carbon bonds in the plastic, leading to a decrease in molecular weight and loss of strength. Fully degradable plastics will do so without any damage, leaving only H20, CO2 and biomass in negligible quantities.

The cosmetic formulas used for our amenitieses :

Free of mineral oils and silicones.
No petrolatum.
Formaldehyde free and formaldehyde donors.
No salt added.
With mild foam-forming surfactants.
Formulated with purified water.

Phenoxyethanol free
No Ogm, no Bht.
Dermatologically tested.
Free of environmentally toxic fragrances.
Soaps made with eco-sustainable vegetable oils.
No tallow or animal fats are used.

Our blankets and plaids are made with organic cotton certified by GOTS. This guarantees that this product is made from organic cotton grown without harmful substances and produced in safe facilities with environmentally friendly production methods.

Almost 100% of the energy we consume during the day is produced by solar panels.

Our pens are made from recycled cardboard and natural and renewable raw materials and our paper is manufactured using eco-efficient systems, i.e. produced with clean technologies. Your product is natural, renewable and recyclable.

We use water dispensers and cups made of 100% plastic-free paper, as well as our coffee capsules whose packaging is recyclable.

These are some of the measures we implement on a daily basis, with the commitment to be increasingly less invasive for the environment to which we owe so much.

The "Commitment to Quality in Tourism" label is the support that certifies compliance with the requirements established in the methodology and recognizes the effort and commitment to quality and continuous improvement, while distinguishing the tourism service from the competition.

Rusticae is the Club of selection of small Boutique accommodations with more than 25 years of experience and leader in Spain and Portugal.
The Rusticae seal is a guarantee of quality for the client and reinforces the decision to book the accommodation. We select, visit and audit all the accommodations that are part of the Club.

Quality

The "Commitment to Quality in Tourism" label is the support that accredits compliance with the requirements established in the methodology and recognizes the effort and commitment to quality and continuous improvement, while distinguishing the tourism service from the competition. The distinction is valid for two years, although it is subject to an annual follow-up evaluation.
